Any known disorder or allergies similar to an anxiety attack?
starts by feeling a little itchy all over, no marks no new foods or stimulent in diet or enviornment,
followed by severe loss of energy and elevated heart rate. (feeling similar to a panic/anxiety attack)
next breath becomes shallow, and become emotional
all occurs within about 30-60 minutes, then over, and left the next few days feeling a little bit weak. Any suggestions welcome. Went to doctor and told possible hypo glycemic. Does that sound correct?
this has been happening for 6 months now, sometimes 2 months in between "spells", sometimes just 24 hours.

Get a second opinion….allergies and/or asthma can make this feeling…or severe anxiety does too. But you need a closer look see…a dr that will run a few tests..maybe?
December 9th, 2009 at 2:35 amThat doesn’t sound correct to me. I am NOT a doctor, but I have suffered from anxiety attacks, and know that sometimes different people have different experiences during an attack. You could just be dealing with an anxiety attack where you have the itches, but it sounds to me like you’re allergic to something. I would watch carefully what you eat, drink, and what you are exposed to. Sometimes allergies just pop up out of nowhere, even with things you have previously been fine with.
I know that my anxiety attacks used to be worse when I had allergies, or some other outside trigger like that.
The doctor is great, but the person who knows your body best is you. Don’t ever forget that. So watch yourself carefully over the next few days, set up an appointment with your doctor, and then go over everything you’ve felt. Good luck with everything!
December 9th, 2009 at 2:35 am"possible hypoglemia" can be correctly diagnosed by testing;; it just plain sounds to me like allergies & serious allergies.. your bronchioles tightening/closing up in response to your allergen can be causing the "anxiety attacks";; A GOOD portion of anxiety attacks result from INEFFICIENT EXHALATION.. you’re not breathing out enough to allow room for "new, fresh" air to come in.. therefore, "can’t breath";; it sounds like you are very close to anaphylaxic shock;; talk to an allergist or dermatologist to locate what allergen(s) is making you respond this way!! pretty important you do!! all of these responses are allergic responses;; good luck!!
